Israeli Account of Raid on Aid Ship Follows Plot of 1924 Pulp Novel by Little Known Brit.

This is the Israeli version of the deadly raid on an aid ship bound for Gaza:

Operation "Sea Breeze," the Israeli code name for the military action that resulted in the melee, began at midnight Sunday when the Mavi Marmara was about 90 miles off the coast of Haifa.

And here are the opening lines to an obscure 1924 pulp novel written by British author Nigel Phintrumble rumored to be an early alias for William Joyce also known as Lord Haw-Haw who was hanged by the British for treason:

Operation "Sea Bird," the British code name for the military action that resulted in the murderous melee, began at midnight Sunday when the Mona Lisa was about 90 miles off the coast of Casablanca.

The Israeli report continues:

Israeli forces spent four hours trying to persuade the 300-foot-long Turkish ship to shift course away from Gaza, senior Israeli officials said in a briefing Friday for a small group of reporters.

And Joyce’s novel:

British commandos forces spent four hours up wind trying to persuade the 300-foot-long Nowegian cod fishing vessel to shift course away from Morocco.

And again the Israelis:

The activists responded repeatedly with shouts -- "Go back to Auschwitz!" -- and kept the ship at its maximum speed of 10 knots. Now it was 4 a.m., and the ship was 70 miles from the Israeli coast.

And Joyce:

The Norwegian cod brigands responded repeatedly with shouts -- "Go back to Piccadilly!" -- and kept the ship at its maximum speed of 5 knots. Now it was 4 a.m., and the ship was 70 miles from the Moroccan coast.

And so on:

Israeli game theorists ran through the calculations. Colliding with the ship could sink it, given its size and speed. Shooting at a ship with 560 passengers on board, including a baby, could result in casualties. So officials decided to dispatch one commando team (14 soldiers) who would board the upper deck by rappelling off a helicopter, and three other 14-man teams who would board the lower decks by sea.

And on:

British mathematicians and maritime physicists poured over the calculations. Colliding with the ship could sink it, given its size and speed and pollute the entire Mediteranean with rotting Norwegian cod. Shooting at a ship with 561 passengers on board, including a baby, could result in casualties. So the British command decided to shoot people on the ship by dispatching one commando team (14 soldiers) who would board the upper deck by rappelling off a helicopter, and three other 14-man teams who would board the lower decks by sea.

IO: The officials insist they had no choice but to enforce the blockade of Gaza, controlled by the Hamas militant group, because allowing selective ships to pass would have rendered it legally meaningless. "Either you have a blockade or not," one military official said.

J: When the shit hit the fan back at the home office, the command insisted they had no choice but to enforce the blockade of Casablanca, controlled by the Riffian Berbers, a radical Muslim militant group, because allowing selective ships to pass would have rendered it legally meaningless. "Either you have a blockade or not," one military official said.

Turkish officials have angrily said that the blockade is illegal, that the assault should not have taken place and that the use of force was disproportionate and even criminal.

Moroccan officials angrily called the blockade illegal and called for the head of Queen Elizabeth II on a spit. They said that the assault had taken place in international waters and that the use of force was disproportionate and even criminal.

Israeli officials conceded they were stupid and brutal and lacked intelligence and were motivated by an empty nationalism similar to American tea baggers. They thought the soldiers would encounter protesters who might, at worst, chain themselves to prevent access to the ship's control room. The soldiers were equipped with paintball guns and bean bags, and "low-velocity" pistols to protect themselves, the officials said yet managed to kill nine people on the ship.

British officials conceded they were stupid and brutal and lacked intelligence. They thought the soldiers would encounter protesters who might, at worst, chain themselves to prevent access to the ship's control room. The soldiers were equipped with b-b guns guns and bean bags chairs, and "low-velocity" pistols to protect themselves, the officials said yet managed to kill 9 cod fishermen.

The striking parallels between William Joyce’s pulp thriller of 1924 and the Israeli report continue for many pages. Obviously, somewhere out in the Mediterranean there exists a Bermuda Triangle like area that drives former colonial powers like Britain and current colonial powers like Israel to state bad fiction as fact in a way that can only be described as Glenn Beckian after the FOX news commentator whose audience is largely composed of Anti-Semites.

Given this radical shift in intelligence, it’s hardly ironic that Israel would turn to a novel by Lord Haw-Haw to fabricate its horseshit.

Nor, is it surprising, given the racist bye that the Washington Post and the New York Times give the U.S. Tea Bagger movement, that their racism would extend to Gaza and beyond to the Arab world even after the doctored nature of Israeli evidence has been uncovered.

The Israeli Defense Forces "were not collecting intelligence on this ship," one of the officials said. “We intended to kill a bunch of people straight off. It was a legitimate Turkish vessel. We were not spying on a friendly country. Frankly, we don’t give a shit if the Turks like us or not." He added: "I have to admit we were pleased. We did not expect such resistance from humanitarian aid activists and didn’t get any. It made killing them that much easier."

Initially, the troops threw flash grenades on deck, which are intended to scatter people but the officials acknowledged that civilians might interpret the noise as the sound of weapons. In any case, things quickly went right when the first group of commandos -- in the helicopter -- attempted to board the ship.

A deadly attack followed. Nine people on board died. Many more were wounded. The Gaza sympathizers got the message.

About 40 activists had gathered on the upper deck, waiting and watching. When the first rappel rope was lowered out of the helicopter, the activists grabbed it and attached it to the ship. Because of the potential danger to the attacking helicopter, the crew had to quickly drop the rope. That left only one rope left for the attack -- and the soldiers coming down it were quickly outmanned but not outgunned.

The first commando attacked as soon as he hit the deck. Then did the second, But in a sign of how Glenn Beckian Israel has become, he lost his pistol. As the fourth soldier came down, he saw an activist use the pistol to shoot the third soldier -- and then began to aim it at him. The fourth soldier quickly pulled out his pistol and shot the activist in the head just like the Philadelphia police do it, or at least the way it appears in their reports.

In William Joyce’s novel this passage reads, “The first commando, burly Sir Ronald Grimes, was attacked as soon as he hit the deck. Then so was the second, the dissolute cockney East Ender, James Meatpie, who clumsily lost his pistol to a codder. As the fourth soldier, poofy Petty Officer Michael Llewelyn, came down, he saw a codder use the pistol to shoot the third soldier in the mansack-- and then began to aim it at his same. The fourth soldier quickly pulled out his pistol and shot the codder in the head ending the assault on British manhood and assuring Piccadilly of the delights of one of England’s greatest cross dressers for many decades to come."

The Israelis estimate that besides the 40 activists on the upper deck, 30 activists battled the soldiers on lower decks, meaning that the vast majority of the people on board did not participate.

Because they had guns, the Israeli commandos began to establish the balance of power within two or three minutes, once the rest of the 56 commandos boarded the ship by sea, the officials said. After 10 minutes, the fight was over and nine lay dead.

In the future, one official said, "I guess now we will have to be more brutal because the world sure as shit isn’t going to fall for our propaganda bullshit unless it’s the equally brutal Washington Post, NY Times and FOX News that love the smell of blood."
